Decree [Appointment of Imam Khomeini's advisor to the Supreme Defense Council]

Dear Mr. Colonel Sayyid Mousa Namjou- may God assist you,

In order to set up the Supreme Defense Council as per Article 110 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, «1» you are appointed as advisor of my behalf. In view of the critical conditions of the country, you are required to provide reports to me every week after careful and complete survey of the internal developments in different departments of the military.
