Message [Reply to a message of congratulation on the occasion of feast of Fitr]

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Mr. Hafiz al-Asad, President of the Republic of Syria,

I received your Excellency's message of congratulation on the occasion of the feast of Fitr with pleasure. Reciprocally, we extend our congratulation on the feast of Fitr to your Excellency, the Muslim and the brotherly nation of Syria. I beseech God to grant you victory over the enemies of Islam, especially the criminal and occupying Israel.
