Message [Reply to a message of condolence on the martyrdom of Messrs: Raja'i and Bahonar]

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Mr. Shaykh Za'id Sultan Al-e Nahiyan, President of UAE,

I received your Excellency's message of condolence on the martyrdom of the beloved president and prime minister of our country with appreciation. I beseech God to annihilate all the enemies of Islam, and especially the criminal America. I hope that these tragic incidents and their like committed by the agents of Zionism in every part of our country will be a mouthpiece for the oppressed nations of the world and especially our `Arab brother so that they can better realize the innocence of our nation, and provide a decisive response to the unfounded accusations against us, going so far as accusing us of buying weapons from and having ties with the occupying Israel.
