Message [Reply to message of condolence on the martyrdom of Messrs: Raja'i and Bahonar]

Mr. `Abdur-Ra`ouf al-Qasim, Prime Minister of the Republic of Syria,

I received your message of condolence on the tragedy of the martyrdom of our beloved president and prime minister. I appreciate your sympathy and kindness. These tragic incidents with all the grief they trigger expose the ugly and criminal image of colonialists, especially the world-devouring America, that spares no effort in plotting and committing crimes against the Islamic nations. These incidents also obviate the need to defend ourselves against the unfair accusations which have gone so far as to brazenly accuse us of buying weapons from and having ties with the occupying Israel. I beseech God to grant victory to Islam and Muslims and to defeat and exterminate the enemies.
