Your Eminence Ayatullah Sayyid Shahab ad-Din Mar`ashi Najafi- may your blessings last,
I received your telegraph of condolence and congratulation on the martyrdom of the honorable and responsible cleric Hujjat al-Islam Haj Shaykh `Ali Quddousi «1» - may God's mercy be upon him. I appreciate you for sending the telegraph.
This sad tragedy and its like which are committed by the agents of America everyday in this great Islamic country, are the last desperate attempts of the enemy that wants to sidetrack the nation from its holy path for which the nation has offered thousands of martyrs. But our great and heroic nation indicated that these criminal and insane acts will not discourage them from this straight path; on the contrary, these crimes will make them more committed, determined and harmonious.
"Verily they engaged in deception and God also engaged in deception and God is the best deceiver." «2» May God's peace and mercy be upon you.
