Mr. Haj Sheiho Shagari (?), President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,

I received your message of condolence on the tragic martyrdom of the beloved president and prime minister of our country. I appreciate your sympathy and kindness. These nasty incidents have not weakened us in our holy path; on the contrary, they will make us more determined. On the other hand, these incidents provide a response to the lies and accusations leveled against us by the bloodsucking enemies, at the top of whom is America, that have gone so far as to accuse us of buying weapons from and having ties with the occupying Israel, which are meant to cut us off from our Muslim and `Arabic speaking brothers."
