Decree [Delegating eligibility approval of judges volunteering to join the Supreme Judicial Council]

[In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Your Highness Imam Khomeini- may your presence last,

In the wake of the martyrdom of two members of the Supreme Judicial Council and the need to hold election to complete the above-mentioned council, and in accordance with article three of the Constitution concerning the election of the three judges for the membership of the Supreme Judicial Council, enclosed herewith are the names of the volunteering judges or those introduced by others, to be studied with respect to their eligibility in terms of fulfilling the condition for justice and jitihad.
