I got your telegraph of the great victory of completely lifting the siege of Abadan «1» God conferred upon the air force, the revolutionary guards, the mobilized forces, gendarmeries, Islamic devotees and other popular forces. I congratulate this great victory to the commanders of all the armed forces, to the great soldiers and to the powerful revolutionary guards. It is hoped that these victories conferred upon Islam and the country fulfill the blessed aim of the savior. I wish the honorable nation will soon witness the ultimate victory when the infidel and aggressor forces are driven out of the territories of our country. On behalf of the great nation of Iran I would like to express my appreciation to the brave army, the revolutionary guards and the other armed forces- may God assist them. I beseech God to grant victory and glory to Islam and Muslims, especially to the Islamic armed forces.
