His Excellency Mr. Ma'moun `Abdul-Qayyoum, President of Maldive,

I acknowledge the receipt of your telegraph congratulating the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan and extend my appreciation. Reciprocally, I congratulate you on the great Divinely month and hope that Islamic nations of the world in this month and in light of Islam's humanizing teachings and by their acts of worship curtail the influence of aggressors from their lands and regain their lost glory. May God's peace be upon you!
