His Excellency General Lansana Conte, President of Guinea,
The receipt of your congratulatory telegram on the arrival of the auspicious feast of Fitr is hereby acknowledged with gratitude. Reciprocally, I extended my congratulations to you and to the Muslim nation of your country on arrival of this great Islamic feast. It is hoped that this great feast will awaken the Muslim nation so that they can deliver themselves as soon as possible from the dominance of imperialists and the enemies of Islam.
