In view of the merit and religious-revolution commitment that have been reported concerning you, you are hereby promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and appointed as the Chief of the Joint Army Staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran. I beseech God, the Exalted, for your success in serving Islam and the government of the Islamic Republic.
