Conspiracy to create dispute between people and clerics
I would like to thank all the `ulama' for taking the trouble to come to my humble house so that I would benefit from their presence. I have already talked about issues concerning Iran. Once again I would like to tell the clerics that all these conspiracies against the Islamic Republic, that has threatened the interests of the superpowers, have proved fruitless. Apparently, these conspiracies aim at triggering internal dispute. If the conspirators can do such a thing internally, they would not need to do anything from outside.
Within the country, there are two major types of plots they can restore to:
One is to keep the clergies apart from people like the situation we experienced during thee reign of Rida Khan. This attempt was pursued years after Rida Khan. Whenever a clergy did something, they would stir a rumor against him and flayed this class. They wanted to dissociate the people from the clergy. To some extent they were successful in impressing some classes. Now, more than ever before they have felt that Iran has become integrated. Everybody follows clerics in his/ her own way. If there is anything to be done, they are the clerics who do positive works. That is why today more than before the opponents have taken notice of this point. In many places they want to sow discord between the clerics and the people.
Of course what is needed is for the clerics to take note that wherever they are and whenever they find such hands that want to create discord between a clergy and another clergy or between a clergy and the people, they should not let them do it. They should put a halt to it and not let it grow. This is a very important issue that you should appreciate. The Friday prayer leaders should also warn people every time they give a sermon. So should the congregational prayer leaders who are in touch with people. Take care not to let that rift grow wider. Whoever wants to intrude to create any discord must be stopped from the start. One example of such attempts is the hypocrites and deviants who insult the clerics, thus laying the foundation of discord. In the name of being friends with this or that maraji` they want to insult a great maraji` (religious authority), thus causing disunity in the country. This is one of the important things that must be stopped. If the gentlemen see such a thing and if Friday prayer leaders sense that these hypocrites want to make mischief they must stop it.
Dramatization of weak points by the enemy
Another point of which the clerics are aware is that those who are against the clergies want to find a weak point and magnify it. Suppose if there is someone in charge of judgment or in charge of an executive work or even one of the Friday prayer leaders who acts in a way that is wrong in their eyes, they make a big thing out of it and rub it in till they get what they want. They want the clerics to lose face. The clergies must heed that if- God forbid- a young theology student or young clergies do something unpleasant or- God forbid- not in line with religion, those who do not want this country to be calm would exploit it.
Another thing is that they are thinking of implanting discord among organs such as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Basij and others that are part of the people. The clergies and `ulama' who have sensed this threat should seriously defuse it.
As for the issue brought up by the gentleman about both Fars Province governor and consultation of different departments with the clergies, I have recommended these two and advised them that if they want to preserve the country and if they do not want to get hurt, they must do things after consulting the clergies in each area. They are familiar with local issues, but governors are usually from outside of the province so they do not know much about it. You must consult. The aim of the clergies is to strengthen Islam and to eliminate the problems of the oppressed people.
I wish you success in all the issues of which I have reminded you. I hope a competent governor will be appointed Fars Province as soon as possible. I ask all the clergies to pray for me. I hope that this country which has curtailed the grip of aliens, who are seriously trying to infiltrate will be able to ward off all the dangers through the efforts of the clergies, the people, the government, the army and other groups. Thank God now no power from the outside can do anything. If we trust the Exalted and Almighty God and turn to Him and to the Imam of the Time, we will not get hurt. With this
motivation, we will push ahead, God willing. May the Exalted God protect all the clergies and help all of us in our religious duties.
