In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
A report arrived from the department of teacher training regarding the commencement of teacher training all over the country, about which I have been requested to give a few words. I would like to repeat the importance of the issue of which I have reminded you. Beyond doubt, in trying to achieve their evil purposes and tyrannizing the oppressed people of the world, the superpowers see no better way than attacking the culture of the oppressed countries. By having Western or Eastern education, teachers or professors prepare the elementary and high schools for Western or Eastern education of the youths who will be the future statesmen. With this kind of education that predisposes the young people toward one of the two poles of power, the way will be paved for dominating the oppressed countries of the world without any trouble and arms. As far as they are concerned, the best way to access the resources and products of the nations and countries is to get hold of one stratum of the native people and educate them. This way, nations will offer what they have to them without making any noise and even with enthusiasm and interest. The biggest blow dealt to this country in the last fifty years came from deviant professors who were Western-educated and who governed education centers in the same manner. The harm was much more than what Rida Khan and his son did. Of course, there were committed professors and teachers but the others called the shot. We got rid of the evil of Rida Khan and Muhammad Rida Khan, but we will not rid of the result of Western and Eastern education any time soon. They are the foothold of the domination of the superpowers that cannot be disarmed by any logic. Despite all their failures they have not stopped plotting against the Islamic Republic, and still try to break down this divine edifice. If the dear nation of Iran and the oppressed countries of the world want to liberate themselves from the trap of the satanic superpowers once and for all, they must reform their culture and make it independent. There is no other way; this road must be taken by committed professors and teachers in high schools and universities.
With education and efforts in various scientific fields and with the right training and refinement of the educational centers and educating the devious elements, the youth who are the hope of the nation, should be reformed. They should be taught in various other fields and be refined through the Islamic teaching, and Islamic sciences that teach morality and refine the self should be taught by experts on Islam so that the youths will get acquainted with this animating and all-inclusive school of thought. With certainty, they must know that Islam is a school of thought that builds humans in such a way that the never bow down to anyone except the Truth and the Origin of creation, never succumb to any influence and never lose interest in their own country. They also learn from this school to defend their freedom and independence and avoid egocentricity and shortsightedness which are the underlying cause of all problems. You, who have buckled down and taken steps in the direction of education, should be aware of the profundity and worth of your work and do whatever it takes for this holy goal and devote yourselves to God and his servants and know that God will grant success to you.
