The problem of Muslims lies in the disputes among the strata of Muslims. Since today is the day of awakening of all nations, Muslims must wake up.
From what I understand, in India, especially in New Delhi, there is a dispute between Sunni Muslim brothers and Shi`ites. I send this message to both of them and implore God to call upon all Muslims to stick together around" the String of God" «1» and not to be disunited. They should have realized this by now that all the problems are caused by the disputes among Muslims.
If Muslims of the world come together and do not have any dispute, none of these problems will occur to them. If the Indian Muslims, whether Sunnis or Shi`ites, reach an understanding, come together and act upon Islamic fundamentals, they will get rid of these problems afflicting them throughout their long history.
Today, all of us need to be aware of the depth of issues and know that the superpowers create disputes reap benefits. It is not a proper time for Muslims to have disputes.
Shi`ites and Sunnis should be united and forget about disputes. Together, they should engage in social and political affairs so that, God willing, disputes and problems are resolved one after the other. May God awaken Muslims wherever they are and may God acquaint all of them with their divine duties. May all come together under the banner of unity so that, God willing, all problems are resolved.
