Following the Doyen of the Martyrs
It will be an honor for us to be killed on the Day of `Ashoura' as Imam Husayn did; to have our children captivated and our property pillaged. We will have made our names immortal in return. That is because firstly there is no difference between their actions and Yazid's; secondly, if they attempt such a thing, that is to disrupt our mourning processions and kill people, we will announce, just like Imam Husayn did, that those who do not back us, should choose the side of Yazid's army. One of those whose blood is to be shed for the sake of the Doyen of the Martyrs' sake is Khomeini. It is the time now for us to turn Qum into the Karbala of Husayn on the Day of `Ashoura' and created a second Karbala that will be visited by the pilgrims. There is no honor higher than being killed for the sake of religion, for Husayn and for the sake of independence of the country. I am informed that the request for dispatching the gang of thugs from Tehran to Qum has been made by the head of Qum Security Organization. Qum Security Organization has requested about six hundred armed gangsters to be sent to Qum on the Day of `Ashoura'; however, I will not allow the head of the Security Organization «2» and the head of Qum Police Force «3» to do whatever they wish. At the right moment, I know how to deal with these, «4» and have them.
