My dear daughter,
Your noble letter arrived. I am happy to know of your and the others' health. I am thankful that you remembered your old father. I hope that you are all happy and in good spirits. Aside from a telegram nothing has arrived from Khanum; «2» certainly pleasant occupations prevent her. Your brother «3» came from Karbala on the the first of Rajab; he is fine. Praise be to God, my physical condition is fine, thanks to God. Today I am considering going to Karbala for the 15 th of Rajab. Wherever I go I will pray for all of you and make pilgrimage on your behalf. Give my regards to Khanum and the rest. Extend my regards to Mr. A`rabi «4» and my dear Fereshteh. «5» I beseech God, the Exalted, for everyone's health. May peace be with you.
