I wish to inform your honor that as I have heard, letters and telegrams have been sent concerning this tragedy, which quite often, have not reached me. Also, it is evident that you held a commemorative service «1» and have undergone a lot of trouble. It is necessary for me to thank you and all the other gentlemen who have shown their kindness. I beseech the Exalted Lord to give all of you health and happiness and hope that we will succeed in spending the remaining few years of our lives in the pursuit of the sacred Islamic goals. You and the rest of the gentlemen should kindly not forget me in your benevolent prayers. It is requested that you convey my thanks to our friends and the respected citizens. May God's peace and mercy be upon you.
