Mr. Ilyas Sarkis, President of the Republic of Lebanon,
I received you Excellency's message of condolence on the latest sad tragedy. I appreciate your sympathy and kindness and beseech God to annihilate the enemies of Islam and those plotting against the oppressed people of the world. We condemn the latest bombardment in Lebanon by the agents of the Zionists and the criminal Americans. I hope that these despicable plots and disgraceful acts which are being committed against Islamic countries, especially Iran and Lebanon, will spare us the need to defend ourselves against the baseless accusations. They have so far as to brazenly accuse us of buying weapons from and having ties with bloodthirsty and occupying Israel. I hope that these liars will be unmasked and dishonored before the entire nations of the free world, especially our `Arabic-speaking brothers.
