Mr. Colonel Mu`ammar al-Gadhdhafi, President of Libya,
I received your Excellency's message of condolence on the tragic martyrdom of the beloved president and prime minister of our country. I appreciate your sympathy and kindness. I beseech God to grant high status to the martyrs, to humiliate the plotters and to annihilate the enemies of Islam and the colonialists. I hope that these disgraceful plots and acts committed against the Islamic countries, especially Iran and Lebanon, will make us needless of defending ourselves against the unfounded allegations that accuse us of buying weapons from and having ties with occupying and bloodthirsty Israel, and reveal the intents of these liars to the entire free nations, especially to our `Arabic-speaking brothers.
