I acknowledge the receipt of your telegraph of congratulation on the occasion of the auspicious feast of Qurban wit appreciation. Reciprocally, I extend my congratulations to you and the Muslim people of your country. You are aware that the Islamic republic of Iran has been subjected to all kinds of plots just because of its opposition to the world-devouring America that attacks the oil fields of Kuwait through its agents such as the Baathist Iraqi regime and the reactionary regional governments and accuses Iran of this heinous crime. Our Muslim nation expects the Islamic countries to support it so that we can better carry on with our proud way of life without dependence on the East and West and actualize the sublime goals of Islam in the world.
