Science in general and Islamic disciplines in particular is not exclusive to a certain class of society. The esteemed Iranian women in the course of the revolution demonstrated that they could render valuable services to Islam and Muslims even in social and political activities shoulder-to-shoulder with men, pioneering in educating the honorable women community. Thank God, an institute is under construction in the holy city of Qum, the city of knowledge and Jihad, for education of respected women. It is hoped that with the effort of prominent `ulama' and teachers of the Qum Theological Seminary- may their blessings last long- this Islamic intention finds expression, taking an effective step towards intellectual growth and flourishing of Islamic knowledge of women. To this end, I appoint Hujjaj al-Islam Messers Haj Shaykh `Ali Meshkini, Mousawi Ardebili Haj Shaykh Ahmad Jannati, Haj Shaykh Muhammad Fadil, Haj Shaykh Muhammad `Ali Shar`i, Shaykh Muhammad-Rida Tawassuli, and Haj Shaykh Hasan Sani`i- may their graces last long- as founding members of this school for women. The founding members are vested with the duty of appointing the board of directors, drawing up the constitution, finding appellation for the institute and taking other measures for the institute. It is hoped that with the help of the Almighty God and prayer of the Savior (may our souls be sacrificed for him) the institute can render valuable services to the Muslim and revolutionary community of Iranian women.
