In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
It is necessary in this age of flourishing of the Islamic Revolution, to commemorate the prominent mujahid (struggler), prolific committed Muslim and magnanimous `alim who lived in the dark age of suffocation of Rida Khan. At a time when pens had been broken and tongues tied and throats squeezed, he did not spare expressing the truth and invalidating the wrong. In those days, the right to life had been stripped of the people of Iran, the arena of foray for affronting hectors was open across the country and the hands of his evil mercenaries throughout the country were stained in the blood of liberal ones of the country especially the `ulama' and people from different walks of life. This weak-bodied `alim with a thin body and great fresh spirit invigorated by faith and purity of heart and a tongue sharp as the sword of Haydar-Karrar (reference to Imam `Ali,) stood against them and shouted the truth. He disclosed their crimes, straitened the chances of Rida Khan and ruined him. Finally, he sacrificed his pure life in the cause of dear Islam and the noble nation. He achieved martyrdom hand of the monarchical headsmen and his soul joined his pure ancestors. In fact, our great martyr, the late Mudarris, whom titles cannot do justice, was a brilliant star on the firmament top of a country that had become dark at the result of the oppression and tyranny of Rida Shah. Unless one has experienced those times, one cannot appreciate the value of this noble character. Our nation is indebted to his services and sacrifices.
Now that he has left us proudly, it is upon us to understand the dimensions of his spirit, and his political and ideological insight and make others know these features. The smallest service we can render to him is to repair and reconstruct his desolate tomb. I deemed it opportune to put this service at the disposal of His Eminence Hujjat al-Islam Haj Shaykh `Abbas Wa`iz Tabasi- May God assist him. He is a man serving Islam and the Holy Shrine of Imam Rida (`a), He has rendered appreciatory services to the heavenly threshold of Hadrat Imam Rida (`a) in his short tenure, revealing the plundering of the Pahlavi tyrannical regime in the fifty years of their reign. It is hoped that Mr. Tabasi would fulfill this service like his other valuable services in proportion to the character of that honorable man. This service will bring about the gratification of God Almighty and satisfaction of Imam Rida (`a) and his dear son the Savior (may our souls be sacrificed for him).
I beseech the Almighty God to grant that great man of history mercy in the vicinity of His Throne. I pray for the majesty of Islam, prosperity of the devoted nation, victory of the mujiahidin of Islam over the army of oppression and blasphemy, forgiveness of martyrs in the cause of God, particularly martyrs of the imposed war, health for those wounded in the war, release of the POWs and those missing in action and patience and spiritual reward for their families. May God's peace, mercy and blessing be upon the righteous servants of God!
