I appreciate the God-sanctioned efforts of mustad`afin (oppressed) Basij in the holy cause of Islam, independence of the country, liberation of the shackled nation and curtailing the hands of plunderers, It is hoped that you acquire purity in all affairs. I hope you apply sincerity in all affairs whether education and strengthening Islamic culture, being trained in different military techniques or in mobilizing the oppressed masses of people and the tyrannized peoples of the world against world-devouring imperialists. I hope your efforts would carry on until the imperialists close their covetous eye at Muslim countries, not to mention the tyrannized peoples of the world. It is hoped that you will strengthen Basij to safeguard Islam and Iran with patience and steadfastness in these great goals, giving divinely color to this valuable service and taking it as act of worship. I implore God Almighty to grant you success in this great purpose. May God protect you!
