While appreciating the services of naval colonel Esfandiyar Husayni in the course of his tenure as naval commander, the Supreme Defense Council in implementation of the provisions of article 110 of the Constitution accepts the former's resignation and recommends Colonel Muhammad Husayn Malikzadeqan as new Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy to His Eminence.
