[According to the honorable Imam's repeated verbal permission since 1358, I have assumed the responsibility of the affairs of the Islamic Publication Office affiliated to the Society of Teachers. Based on what I deemed advisable, purchase, sale, assistance to workers, donation of books to individuals or libraries, payment of loan, debt and finally all financial changes have been done by me. As works should be based on legal criteria, recently I proposed the respected Society of Teachers to draw up articles of association for the office. Based on the articles of association once every two years a delegation comprising five men, three of whom should be from among members of the Society of Teachers have been considered for administration of the office. All the properties of the office that belong to the Muslims Public Treasury will be handled under the supervision of this delegation to be used for publication of Islamic sciences and promotion of scientific foundations of Theological Seminaries as provided in the articles of association. A scientific delegation has also been considered to control the contents of the books to be published. Accordingly, the respected Society of Teachers has appointed me as member of board of directors and scientific board and superintendent of the said office. I hereby extend my appreciation for their confidence and boast of myself with the angels of heavens for the good will shown by Imam Khomeini (may his sublime presence endure) and beg the Imam to authorize any time deemed advisable I could transfer my right of legal changes in the properties of the office obtained from permission of the position of wilayat-e-faqih and general representation of Imam of the Age (may our souls be sacrificed for him) to the respected Society of Teachers of Qum Theological Seminary so that they can alternately appoint their board of directors selected by them for administration of the affairs of the office.
