رنج ندیده ها، انقلاب را یکشبه می فروشند!

آنهایی که فارغ از همه رنجها و مصیبتهای جانفرسای ستون محکم انقلاب و پابرهنه‌‏های محروم، تنها ناظر حوادث بوده‏‌اند، نباید به مسئولیت‌های کلیدی تکیه کنند، که اگر به آن جا راه پیدا کنند چه بسا انقلاب را یکشبه بفروشند. 6 مرداد 1366

لا یجب ان یصل ذوو البیوت الفاخره والمتنعمون برغد العیش والرقاد المریح واللامبالون بالثوره ومنجزاتها الی‏المناصب‏ الحساسه؛ لانّهم إن بلغوا ذلک فربما یساومون علی‏الثوره فی لیله وضحاها، ویجعلون ثمره الجهود المضنیه للشعب الایرانی فی مهب الریح. ۱ ذی الحجه ۱۴۰۷

should try our best lest the newcomers and those who make religion a means of worldly gain may defile the anti-kufr and anti-poverty character of our revolution and bring the authorities the disrepute of being defenders of the interests of the wealthy and the ungodly- those who sit back comfortably in their luxurious houses without any worries and, untouched by the people's hardships, are indifferent spectators of all the tragedies, pains and sufferings of those who form the firm pillars of this revolution: the barefooted and the deprived.
