After extending my sincere regards, I have to kindly ask you to give my thanks to Their Eminences Hujjat al-Islams and distinguished `ulama' of Tehran- may God exalt their names- and ask them to deny strongly what was printed in Ittila`at daily on Tuesday about the clergymen's agreement with the government's goals. You should announce to the nation that no clergyman can agree with the anti-Islamic matters and they should not believe the content of the newspapers about the clergymen. May God's peace, mercy and blessings be upon you.
