Letter [to Sayyid Ahmad Khomeini]

«۱»- Mr. Sayyid Murtada Pasandideh.Sayyid Ahmad Khoemini in regards to this footnotes wrote: «۲»- SAVAK often put siege to the Imam Khomeini's house in Qum and prevented traffic to it for weeks and months. He has asked whether traffic will be eased after the month of Muharram and Safar or not. This is because his only contact was with me and two workers by the names of Mashhadi-Rida and Nad-`Ali. «۳»- The Imam used this phrase to fool the agents if the contents of some letter were revealed. This was aimed at keeping me out of possible trouble. This point was constantly exchanged between him and me, I would reply that I am involved in nothing; for example in this same letter the Imam has written," Be careful and don't sign the letter." «۴»-  If it happened that these letters were related to the uprising, I and the others were not allowed to take copies of the letters as it was prohibited for us to open the letters. Unfortunately the recipients of the letters have not kept them and so a source of valuable documents relating to ۱۵ years of the Imam's life in exile and his secret relations with the combatant `ulama and revolutionary people has been destroyed.
