Dear Ahmad,
Your letter dated 10 th of Safar arrived. I wish you health and happiness.
1. Personally take the enclosed envelope to Mr. Zanjani's «1» house and collect 3,000 tumans from Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin,[your] noble uncle «2» and give it to him.
3. I sent one thousand tumans as New Year gift for you and your wife as well as the three girls «3»- 200 tumans for each.
4. As indicated in letters from Tehran, Mr. Tehrani «4» allows ample funds for some institutions like the `Alawi School. Advise him that such institutions do not need his funds and he ought to be more careful in such allowances.
5. It is alright to let Mashhadi Rida and Mashhadi Nadi-`Ali «5» be paid 500 and 400 tumans each respectively.
Deliver the enclosed envelopes through a secured means. «6» I ask God to grant you success in studying religious sciences and in moral purification and turning away from worldly materials. May peace be upon you.
