I regret Mr. Sani`i's «1» resignation and hope that wherever he is he will be effectual. I appreciate his for his efforts. I know him since long ago. He is a knowledgeable, committed and energetic man. He has decided to abandon this assignment, yet he should not keep aloof from all works entirely. Now that he has been tired of this job, he can select other works more befitting his disposition.
Today, I have given you trouble because I decided to designate Mr. Mousawi Khoeyniha «2» as the Prosecutor General. I also know Mr. Mousawi. He is a knowledgeable and committed man. I would like to advise that you should all be together. If the Supreme Judicial Council is strong and all are strongly united, you can resolve the most difficult problems. You should always consult one another. You have done the job well, but the volume of the works is great and you should make greater efforts. I hope Mr. Mousawi will cooperate with Mr. Ardebili «3» with purity of heart as did Mr. Sani`i. Presently, Mr. Sani`i should continue with his work so that the legal process of the transfer is complete.
